Acceptance of applications for the competition was completed
Specialists all over the world are taking part in the competition for the development of conception tourism and recreation cluster MICE tourism in Novorossiysk. On 22January 2018 acceptance of applications for the first (qualifying) stage of the international competition has finished.

The Organizing Committee received 41 applications from 13 countries. Of these, 29 applications are interdisciplinary consortia, uniting 100 companies, comprising specialists in the field of spatial and landscape architecture, strategic consulting and engineers. The remaining 12 applications were submitted by individual participants. In addition to Russia, interest in the application came from teams from Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Turkey, the UK, and Ukraine. The geographical spread of the application covered 13 Russian cities: Anapa, Astrakhan, Feodosia, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Krasnodar, Moscow, Rostov-on- Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Saratov, Sochi, and Tyumen.   

To engage in the first stage of the professional competition, participants were required to demonstrate their competence and ability in developing a complex solution for the development of the territory of the tender in consideration of the specific nature of business tourism. For this reason, each participant was required to provide not only portfolio of relevant projects, but also to prepare an essay describing the key approaches to the construction of the cluster.

During the second stage of the tender, the jury will select three teams. This will last until the end of May 2018, and will be dedicated to working on the projects. Finalists will receive 1,700,000 rubles as compensation for the concept development. The total prize pool for the competition is 8,100,000 rubles.   

● The winner of the second stage will receive an additional bonus of 1,500,000 rubles. 
● The runner-up of the competition will receive an additional bonus of 1,000,000
rubles. 
● The third-ranked finalist will receive an additional bonus of 500,000 rubles.  

We would like to remind everyone that the application is the first step towards creation of a world-class business cluster in Novorossiysk. The infrastructure of the cluster is aimed at hosting international business events, professional exhibitions and education programs.
